Meet the team: Taylor Gibbons
Taylor is serving as an active duty LTJG in the US Coast Guard, which she joined in 2021, and is currently stationed on O’ahu in Hawaii. She serves as a Search and Rescue Coordinator for the Coast Guard, and in her spare time also spends time working as a CrossFit competitor and mentoring women in addiction recovery. Taylor is a a fierce advocate for women’s healing and empowerment, helping them navigate the often challenging path to sobriety and self-discovery. With a deep commitment to rebuilding lives, Taylor empowers women to discover their strength, resilience, and purpose, both in recovery and in life. Taylor also served as a part of the Coast Guard’s Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) and Spectrum, the Coast Guadr'’s LGBTQ affinity group, further expanding the various groups that she is able to help and support through a variety of diverse and adverse experiences. A trusted mentor, passionate leader, and an advocate for inclusivity, Taylor is always striving to make the world a little safer, kinder, and a lot more inclusive, while also striving to teach those around her how to deadlift.
